FRESH/RECIRC Door Actuator: Removal

CAUTION: Before handling the airbag system components, always refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>General Description>CAUTION .
  1. Disconnect the ground cable from battery. Ref. to NOTE>NOTE>BATTERY .
    NOTE: For model with battery sensor, disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor.
  2. Remove the glove box. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Glove Box>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the engine control module (ECM). (Non-turbo model) Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>Engine Control Module (ECM)>REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the blower motor unit assembly. Ref. to HVAC SYSTEM (HEATER, VENTILATOR AND A/C)>Blower Motor Unit Assembly>REMOVAL .
  5. Remove the screws and detach the motor - actuator blower.
