DTC B1501: Power Supply System Error Detection
DTC detecting condition:
Open or short in combination meter power supply circuit
Trouble symptom:
Defective operation of combination meter

| 1 CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
. Turn the ignition switch to ON, and confirm that the illumination of combination meter lights. |
Does the illumination light? | Go to step 2 . | Go to step 3 . |
| 2 CHECK DTC
. Read the DTC of the combination meter using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to READ DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) . |
Is DTC B1501 a current malfunction? | Go to step 3 . | Go to step 5 . |
3 CHECK FUSE

Is the fuse OK? | Go to step 4 . | Replace the defective fuse. |
4 CHECK HARNESS

Is the voltage 8.5 - 16.5 V? | Go to step 5 . | Repair the open circuit of harness or replace harness. |
5 CHECK CONNECTOR

Is there poor contact of connector? | Repair or replace the poor contact of connector. | Even if DTC is displayed, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time. Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again.
NOTE:
In this case, temporary poor contact of connector, temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause.
