Brake Pedal (At Model): Installation

Installation of brake pedal support assembly
1. Temporarily install the brake pedal support assembly with 2 bolts and 4 nuts.
2. Tighten 4 nuts.
  Standard value: T=18N.m {184kgf.cm} {13.3ft.lbf}
3. Tighten 2 bolts.
  Standard value: T=18N.m {184kgf.cm} {13.3ft.lbf}
Installation of push rod pin
1. Apply NIGTIGHT LYW No. 2 to the periphery of the push rod pin.

2. Insert a new push rod pin from the left side of the vehicle, and connect the push rod clevis to the brake pedal assembly with a new clip.
Installation of stop light switch mounting adjuster
1. Engage 2 claws, and install the stop light switch mounting adjuster.

Brake pedal height check/adjustment (Refer to ADJUSTMENT )
Brake pedal free play check (Refer to ADJUSTMENT )
Brake pedal clearance check (Refer to ADJUSTMENT )

Installation of instrument panel under cover sub-assembly No. 1 (Refer to INSTALLATION )
