H4 Model

  1. Perform compressor oil return operation. Refer to PROCEDURE .
  2. Turn the A/C switch to OFF and stop the engine.
  3. Using the refrigerant recovery system, discharge refrigerant. Refer to PROCEDURE .
  4. Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
  5. Remove the V-belts. Refer to REMOVAL .
  6. Remove the bolts and remove the V-belt cover bracket. Refer to REMOVAL .
  7. Remove the bolt and remove the low-pressure hose and high-pressure hose.

  8. Move the alternator harness to the right.
    1. Remove the nut, washer and each connector.
    2. Release the lock and move the alternator harness to the right.

  9. Remove the bolts, and then remove the generator bracket.

  10. Remove the bolts and remove the compressor.
