DTC B1612 AIRMIX Door Actuator Lock (Driver's): Wiring Diagram

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step	Check	Yes	No
1 CHECK CONNECTOR. Check the condition of connector connection. Read the DTC using Subaru Select Monitor.	Is B1612 displayed?	Go to step 2 .	Repair the poor contact of connector.
2 CHECK CURRENT DATA. Using the Subaru Select Monitor, change the setting of "Airmix Dr Act Trgt Open Angle (Driver's)" from the A/C diagnosis and perform the active test.	Did the actuator move to the specified target opening angle?	Air mix door actuator circuit is normal.	Go to step 3 .
3 CHECK HARNESS. Turn the ignition switch to ON. Using the tester, measure the voltage between terminals. Connector & terminal (i174) No. 1 (+) - No. 3 (-):	Is the voltage 4.5 - 5.0 V?	Go to step 4 .	Repair or replace the open, short circuit of the harness.
4 CHECK HARNESS. Disconnect the connector from A/C CM. Using a tester, check continuity between terminals. Connector & terminal (i174) No. 5 - (i80) No. 14: (i174) No. 1 - (i80) No. 16: (i174) No. 3 - (i181) No. 1: (i174) No. 6 - (i181) No. 21: (i174) No. 7 - (i181) No. 22:	Is there continuity?	Go to step 5 .	Repair or replace the open circuit of harness.
5 CHECK AIR MIX DOOR ACTUATOR. Check the air mix door actuator parts. Refer to INSPECTION .	Is air mix door actuator normal?	Replace the A/C CM. Refer to REMOVAL .	Replace the air mix door actuator. Refer to REMOVAL .
