Front Door: Removal

- Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
- Remove the front door trim.< Refer to FRONT DOOR , REMOVAL, Door Trim. >
- Remove the outer mirror assembly.< Refer to REMOVAL , Outer Mirror Assembly. >
- Remove the front door speaker.< Refer to REMOVAL , Front Speaker. >
- Remove the sealing cover.< Refer to REMOVAL , Front Sealing Cover. >
- Remove the front door glass.< Refer to REMOVAL , Front Door Glass. >
- Remove the front door regulator and motor.< Refer to REMOVAL , Front Regulator and Motor Assembly. >
- Remove the front door latch assembly.< Refer to REMOVAL , Front Door Latch and Door Lock Actuator Assembly. >
- Remove the front outer handle.< Refer to REMOVAL , Front Outer Handle. >
- Remove the front door weather strip.NOTE: If the weather strip clip is removed with excessive force, the weather strip may be damaged. Be sure to use clip remover to remove.
- Remove the bolts and nuts to remove the door checker.
- Remove the front pillar lower trim.< Refer to REMOVAL , Lower Inner Trim. >
- Disconnect the connector of door harness from body harness.
- Put a wooden block on jack and place jack under the front door. Support the door with a jack to protect it from damage.
- Remove the door-side bolts for upper and lower hinges to remove front door panel.
- Remove the door hinge from vehicle.
