Non-Turbo Model

  1. Perform compressor oil return operation. < Refer to PROCEDURE , Compressor Oil. >
  2. Turn the A/C switch to OFF and stop the engine.
  3. Using the refrigerant recovery system, discharge refrigerant. < Refer to PROCEDURE , Refrigerant Recovery Procedure. >
  4. Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
  5. Remove the V-belts. < Refer to REMOVAL , V-belt. >
  6. Remove the bolts and remove the V-belt cover bracket.

  7. Disconnect the connector and terminal from generator.

  8. Disconnect the compressor connector and clip, and move the generator harness to the right.

  9. Remove the bolt and remove the low-pressure hose and high-pressure hose.
    CAUTION: Seal the disconnected hose with a plug or vinyl tape to prevent foreign matter from entering.

  10. Loosen the generator bracket bolts.
  11. Remove the bolts and remove the compressor.
