Section 10 (Engine Cooling System - Cooling (H4DOTC - 2.5L DOHC Turbo)): Thermostat: Removal

Lift up the vehicle.
Remove the under cover. Ref. to REMOVAL , Front Under Cover.
Drain engine coolant. Ref. to DRAINING OF ENGINE COOLANT , REPLACEMENT, Engine Coolant.
Disconnect the radiator outlet hose from thermostat cover.

Remove the thermostat cover, and then remove the gasket and thermostat.
