AIR BAG Warning Light Check

Turn ignition switch to ON position. AIR BAG warning light should illuminate for approximately 8 seconds, then go out. If AIR BAG warning light does not come on, see AIR BAG CODE IDENTIFICATION  table. If AIR BAG warning light remains on, control unit has detected a malfunction code.
