| 2 | Move driver seat towards the front | ||
| 3 | Fold backrest of driver's seat forward | Model 453.3/4 | |
| 4.1 | Unscrew screw/bolt of cup holder (1) and unclip cup holder (1) upward | Model 453 except code J59 (Center armrest) |

| 4.2 | Remove armrest at center console and place to one side with lines connected | Model 453 with code J59 (Center armrest) |

| 5 | Disconnect connector bushing (2) from interior socket (X58/1) | ||
