	Remove
1	Detach complete wheels at front axle		AR40.10-P-1100SR
	Check
2	Check brake disks (1) on front axle for cracks or score marks	Cracks can occur due to high stress. Brake disks (1) do not have to be replaced when the crack length is a maximum of 25 mm (0.98 inches). For cracks and scores that have widened or that are deeper than 0.5 mm (0.02 inches): ↓ Replace brake disks (1) subject to separate repair order.
	Measure
3	Measure brake disk thickness on front axle using vernier caliper (010)	Check values for front axle brake disks Brake disk thickness	*BE42.10-P-1001-08Y
		Caliper gauge Observe recommended limit dimensions. If the wear limit has been exceeded or will be exceeded before the next brake pad change: ↓ Replace brake disks (1) subject to separate repair order.	Fig 1
