| Disassemble | |||
| 1 | Remove roof cassette rear spoiler | AR77.33-P-2030MCO | |
| 2 | Remove seal (1.1) from rear soft top and fold forward | ||
| 3 | Remove bolts (3) | ||
| 4 | Release bonding on left and right in crosshatched area and fold folding roof (1) with tension cable retaining plates (4) forward | ||
| 5 | Pull left and right tensioning straps (6) out of roof cassette by means of bolt (7) | ||
| Engage | |||
| 6 | Unscrew left and right bolt (7) until tensioning strap (6) can be loosened by lifting the clamping piece (8) | ||
| 7 | Lift left and right clamping pieces (8), tension tensioning strap (6), press in clamping piece (8) and tighten bolt (7) | ||
| Check | |||
| 8 | Open folding roof (1) and close again | ||
| 9 | Fold folding roof (1) forward and check tension of tensioning straps (6) | In the event of complaints ↓ Retension left or right tensioning strap (6) |

| Assemble | |||
| 10 | Insert extended length of tensioning straps (6) in roof cassette | ||
| 11 | Open folding roof (1) approx. 10 cm | ||
| 12 | Check bonding on left and right in crosshatched area | If folding roof (1) can no longer bond securely. ↓ Replace non-reusable adhesive residues with new sealing strip, and fill defects Sealing strip 119.32 Terostat 20x2 mm |

| 13 | Fold back folding roof (1) with tension cable retaining plates (4) | ||
| 14 | Align folding roof (1) with tension cable retaining plates (4), press on left and right in cross-hatched area and tighten bolts (3) | ||
| 15 | Close folding roof (1) | ||
| Check | |||
| 16 | Check tension of tension cable (5) | If end stop of tension cable (5) is in contact with a tension cable retaining plate (4). ↓ Correct position of tension cable retaining plate (4) in question |

| 17 | Remove loose parts of old adhesive tape on seal (1.1) | ||
| 18 | Replace removed adhesive tape of seal (1.1) | Teroson double-sided adhesive tape, for bonding trim strips and emblems (UV-resistant and weatherproof, black) (width 12 mm), order no.: 107.64 A (width 19 mm), order no.: 107.96 K (width 25 mm), order no.: 117.05 Y |
