	Risk of explosion  caused by welding or soldering work on closed air conditioning system. Risk of poisoning  caused by inhaling overheated refrigerant vapors. Risk of injury  to skin and eyes caused by contact with liquid refrigerant.	Do not perform welding work on or near a closed air conditioning system. No smoking or open flames. 	Remove/install
1	Remove transmitter key and mains plug
2	Remove front module		AR62.30-P-1575MCC
3	Drain air conditioning system	Evacuate air conditioning and then fill it.	AR83.30-P-1760MCC
4	Disconnect air conditioning service unit

5	Raise vehicle with vehicle lift
6	Remove front underfloor paneling

8	Unscrew nut (1)	Nut to refrigerant line separating point	*BA83.55-P-1011-01V
9	Disconnect refrigerant pressure line (2) from rear refrigerant line
	Compressor oils (specification 362.0)	Close off refrigerant pressure line (2) and rear refrigerant line using suitable stop plugs. Otherwise penetrating dirt and moisture will damage components that are connected to the refrigerant circuit. Replace sealing ring at refrigerant pressure line (2) and moisten with compressor oil when inserting.	MB 362.0 compressor oil A 001 989 08 03
10	Lower vehicle with vehicle lift
11	Release and disconnect electrical connector (6) from refrigerant pressure sensor (B12)
12	Unscrew nut (7)
13	Disconnect refrigerant pressure line (2) and refrigerant line (3) from condenser
	Compressor oils (specification 362.0)	Close off refrigerant pressure line (2), refrigerant line (3) and connections to condenser using suitable stop plugs. Otherwise penetrating dirt and moisture will damage components that are connected to the refrigerant circuit. Replace sealing rings at refrigerant pressure line (2) and refrigerant line (3) and moisten with compressor oil when inserting.	MB 362.0 compressor oil A 001 989 08 03
14	Remove mount (5) and swivel right front cooling module (4) outwards in direction of arrow	For the next steps, a helper is required to hold the cooling module (4).

15	Release and disconnect electrical connector from electric drive coolant pump and on-board charger (M46)
16	Unscrew nuts (9) and remove electric drive coolant pump and on-board charger (M46) and put to one side	If necessary, secure electric drive coolant pump and on-board charger (M46) with cable ties.
17	Open bracket (8), remove refrigerant pressure line (2) and unscrew bracket (8)
18	Remove refrigerant pressure line (2) towards the front top
19	Unscrew refrigerant pressure sensor (B12)	When replacing refrigerant pressure line (2).
		Refrigerant pressure sensor to AC line	*BA83.30-P-1001-01L
20	Install new desiccant cartridge		AR83.30-P-6525MCC
21	Install in the reverse order
