| 1 | Remove air intake (1) cover | ||
| 2 | Unscrew bolt (2) | ||
| 3 | Remove crossmember for dashboard (3) far enough until the fresh air/recirculated air housing cover (4) is accessible and can be removed | Models 204, 207, 212 Model 218 |

| 4 | Remove screws/bolts (5) and remove fresh air/recirculated air housing cover (4) from fresh air/recirculated air housing (6) | ||
| 5 | Lift fresh air/recirculated air housing (6) until the bolts (7, arrow) are accessible and can be removed | ||
| 6 | Remove bolts (7, arrow) | Offset screwdriver set | |
| 7 | Disconnect electrical connector (8) and remove ram air flap actuator motor (M2/34) | ||
| 8 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| 9 | Teach in and normalize ram air flap actuator motor (M2/34) | ||
| Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory | AD00.00-P-2000-04A |
