Task

The DC/AC converter control unit converts the DC voltage of the on-board electrical system into a 115 V AC voltage. It is possible to connect small electrical devices which require this AC voltage (e.g. video game consoles, mobile phone chargers) to the 115 V power outlet (X58/34). The maximum available continuous electrical load is P = 150 W.

The rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) supplies voltage to the power outlet microswitch (X58/34s1) in the 115 V power outlet. If a consumer is now connected to the 115 V power outlet, this voltage is switched through to the control input of the DC/AC converter control unit.
