Remove/install wheel sensor - AR40.15-P-0080EW

REMOVING Remove     
1 Unscrew valve cap (1)    
2 Detach tires MODEL 190 AR40.10-P-1030RG

3 Unscrew collar nut (2) from valve body (3) and remove    
4 Remove tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4) with valve body (3) from disk wheel    
5 Remove seal (5) and support ring (6) from valve body (3)    
6 Remove valve body (3) from tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4) When reusing tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4).  
CLEAN Clean     
7 Clean tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4) When reusing tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4).
NOTES Only remove dirt with a clean, lint-free cloth. Do not use compressed air, solvent or cleaner. Otherwise, the tire pressure sensor may be damaged.
IMPORTANT The tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4) can also be reused after the TIREFIT tire repair kit has been used.		    
8 Clean the disk wheel in the area of the valve bore    
INSPECT Check     
9 Visually inspect tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4) If there is damage to the tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4)
↓
Replace tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4)		  
10 Check disk wheel for damage in the area of the valve bore    
INSTALLING Install     
11 Detach label (4) with identification number (I) from tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4) and stick in service booklet When replacing tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4).  
12 Replace valve body (3) and valve element (7) When reusing tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4).
IMPORTANT Insert the square of the valve body (3) into the guide on the tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4) so that this is fixed in position.		  
13 Mount support ring (6) and seal (5) on valve body (3) IMPORTANT The cone on the support ring (6) must be seated correctly in the contour of the tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4).
IMPORTANT Observe installation position (see arrow, refer to Fig 1).		  
14 Insert valve body (3) with freely moving tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4) from inside to outside into valve bore of disk wheel    
15 Tighten collar nut (2) on valve body (3) IMPORTANT Make sure that the correct type of collar nut (2) for steel or light alloy wheels is used.
IMPORTANT When tightening the collar nut (2), press the tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4) lightly into the drop center and press toward the valve bore of the disk wheel.

17 Screw on valve cap (1) NOTES Only use plastic valve caps (1). Otherwise corrosion damage may occur.  
18 Restart tire pressure monitor When replacing tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4).
