Remove/install aneroid capsule for exhaust gas turbocharger bypass flap - AR09.40-P-1002-02CD

Removal
- Detach control line (1) from turbocharger bypass flap aneroid capsule (2).
- Unscrew nut (4).
- Unscrew nuts (6) on turbocharger bypass flap aneroid capsule (2).
- Remove turbocharger bypass flap aneroid capsule (2).
Installation
- Introduce turbocharger bypass flap aneroid capsule (2) and tighten nuts (6).
- Turn nut (5) on the control rod (3) in direction of the turbocharger bypass flap aneroid capsule (2) until the lever (7) is free.
- Press lever (7) up to end stop in direction of the control rod end.
- Turn nut (5) with zero clearance up to lever (7).
- In order to achieve the required pretension, mark nut (5) and turn by exactly three further revolutions in the direction of the control rod end.
- Tighten nut (5) using the open end wrench and tighten nut (4).
This is to ensure that the control rod (3) is secured against adjustment.
- Secure nuts (4, 5 and 6) using temperature resistant paint.
- Place control line (1) on turbocharger bypass flap aneroid capsule connection (2).
