1	Release rear seat backrest and fold down	Model 212.2, Model 204.0, 212.0 with code (287) Through-loading feature

2.2	Release head restraint and remove from rear seat backrest	Model 204.2/9, 212.2, 218, Model 204.0, 212.0 with code (287) Through-loading feature
3.1	Release left head restraint guide (1) and right head restraint guide (2) over the center opening using the extraction hook and remove upwards	Model 212 To do so, insert extraction hook into longitudinal slot of catch (arrow A, B), rotate approx. 90° until catch (arrow A, B) can be swiveled far enough inwards to enable head restraint guide to be removed upwards.

3.2	Release left head restraint guide (1) and right head restraint guide (2) from outside on catch (arrow A, B) and remove upwards	Model 204, 218 Push the backrest upholstery slightly to the side, apply a suitable screwdriver to the outside on the left head restraint guide (1) or the right head restraint guide (2) and route along and downwards, then release the catch (arrow A, B).
	Install
4	Insert left head restraint guide (1) and right head restraint guide (2) into backrest frame and slide down until the catches (arrow A, B) in the backrest frame latch into place	The catch (arrow A, B) of the left head restraint guide (1) or right head restraint guide (2) faces outwards.
5.1	Insert head restraint and slide all the way into the rear seat backrest	Model 204.2/9, 212.2, 218, Model 204.0, 212.0 with code (287) Through-loading feature
5.2	Install heat restraint	MODEL 212.0/1 without CODE 287 (Through-loading feature) MODEL 204.0
