Measure crankshaft bearing bore the area (A); note measured value.
Detach balance shaft housing.
Example: Diameter 62.50 mm.
Measure diameter at crankshaft bearing journal.
Example: 57.95 mm.
Determine bearing shell thickness .
Example: crankshaft bearing bore diameter 62.50 mm diameter, crankshaft bearing journal - 57.95 mm _______________________ 4.55 mm radial bearing play (prescribed value) - 0.04 mm check values→ "Crankshaft bearing clearance" table _______________________

Required bearing shell thickness 2, 255 mm
