Remove/install hydraulic valve clearance compensating elements - AR05.00-P-2011CD

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove camshafts   AR05.20-P-6992CD
2 Remove cam follower (2) together with the compensating element (1) IMPORTANT When removing several compensation elements (1) make sure that roller-type cam follower (2) with compensation elements (1), which were not replaced, are re  
    INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Oil cam follower (2) and compensation elements (1).  
3 Detach clamp (3) by hand and remove compensation element (1) from cam follower (2)    
INSPECT Checking     
4 Check compensation element (1) for proper operation, replace if required NOTES Only push compensation element (1) together by hand, do not use a steel tool. The surface of the compensation element (1) can be damaged otherwise.
IMPORTANT The compensation element (1) should not be pressed together with a normal force of the hand and only slightly by using strong pressure.
If several compensation elements (1) are defective, check the pressure oil supply to the cylinder head.
