Remove/install trunk lid - AR88.50-P-5000EW

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
DANGER Risk of injury  caused by fingers being jammed or pinched when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof. No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating area when the components are moving. AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
IMPORTANT Notes on sensor system for trunk lid opening/closing   AH80.61-P-0001-01A
1.1 Remove hinge bracket trim piece (2) MODEL 212.0/1  
1.2 Unclip clip (15) and detach hinge bracket paneling (2) MODEL 218.3

2 Remove warning triangle (3) from bracket (4)    
3 Remove screw/bolt (5) MODEL 212.0/1  
4.1 Push catch hook (6) toward rear and remove bracket (4) MODEL 212.0/1  
4.2 Press catch hook (6) in direction of arrow and remove bracket (4) MODEL 218.3  
5 Unclip clips (7), unclip cover (8) with assembly wedge and remove until electrical connector on trunk lid ambient lamp (E40) is accessible SPECIAL TOOL Clip remover Fig 4

6 Disconnect electrical connector (9) from trunk lid ambient lamp (E40) and remove cover (8) TORQUE SPECIFICATION The number of electrical connectors depends on the equipment installed.  
7 Unclip clips (10) and expansion clip (16) IMPORTANT Expansion clips (16) only on model 218.3

8 Detach trunk lid trim (11)    
9 Disconnect electrical connector from electrical wiring harness (12) in trunk lid (1) IMPORTANT The number of electrical connectors depends on the equipment installed.  
10 Remove electrical wiring harness (12) from trunk lid (1) and lay down to side    
11 Remove screws/bolts (13) IMPORTANT Installation: Screw in bolts (13) only until trunk lid (1) can still be moved. These bolts (13) can be tightened after adjusting trunk lid (1).  
12 Loosen screws/bolts (14) IMPORTANT Loosen bolts (14) only until trunk lid (1) can be removed.
IMPORTANT Installation: Screw in bolts (14) only until trunk lid (1) can still be moved. These bolts (14) can be tightened after adjusting trunk lid (1).		  
13 Remove trunk lid (1) out of the hinge levers upwards    
14 Install in the reverse order    
15 Adjust trunk lid (1)   AR88.50-P-5200EW 
16 Calibrate reversing camera and 360° camera with STAR DIAGNOSIS MODEL 212.0/1, 218.3 with CODE 218 (reversing camera) MODEL 212.0/1, 218.3 with CODE 501 (360 degree camera)
