4.1	Remove exhaust pipe (3)	Model 221 with code (U42) BlueTEC (SCR) diesel exhaust treatment Remove bolt (4) on clamp (5). Remove top bolts (6) but only loosen bottom bolt (6) as the flange is slotted. Close off openings of the turbocharger and the CAT For vehicles with 4 MATIC lay exhaust pipe with the attached O2 sensor upstream of CAT (G3/2) outside the working area. Replace seal and all screws/bolts (4, 6).

5	Disconnect electrical connector on temperature sensor upstream of exhaust gas turbocharger (B19/11)
6	Remove temperature sensor upstream of turbocharger (B19/11)	Align the temperature sensor upstream of turbocharger (B19/11) through turning in such a way that the distances to the heat shield (2) and to charge air manifold are adequate and even otherwise damage will occur to the electrical feed line. Coat thread with heat-resistant lubricant.
