Adjust front door crank window - AR72.10-P-1950EG

REMOVING Remove     
DANGER Risk of injury  from pinching or crushing hands and feet when working on windows. Secure the windows against falling out; use only specified lifting tools; wear safety shoes.   AS67.00-Z-0003-01A
NOTES Notes on avoiding damage to windows installed in special high-security vehicles   AH67.00-P-0003-01FB
NOTES Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge   AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1 Open crank window (1) approx. 250 mm    
2 Remove inner door panel and lay down to side with electrical wiring harness connected   AR72.10-P-0104EG 
  Adjust     
3 Unscrew nuts (2, 3) and remove silent blocks (4)    
4 Lay crank window mounts (5) down on power window mounts (6)    
5 Completely move down crank window (1) with driver-side power window and outside mirror adjustment switch group or passenger-side power window and outside mirror adjustment switch group    
6 Mark position of elongated holes on power window mounts (6) and crank window mounts (5) to one another    
7 Move crank window (1) up with driver-side power window and outside mirror adjustment switch group or passenger-side power window and outside mirror adjustment switch group so that elongated holes are still visible from bottom    
8 Mark position of elongated holes on crank window mounts (5) and power window mounts (6) to one another IMPORTANT Elongated holes must be located in the same relative position to one another in the Y direction at this point, as in the upper position of the crank window (1).  
9 Loose nut (7) and move rear window guide rail (8) in lower area accordingly until the position of the elongated holes coincides. If the position of the elongated hole does coincide in the Y-direction.  
10 Tighten nut (7) If the rear window guide rail (8) is adjusted.  
11 Move crank window (1) down with driver-side power window and outside mirror adjustment switch group or passenger-side power window and outside mirror adjustment switch group so that both silent blocks (4) can be installed    
12 Raise crank window (1) and insert silent blocks (4)    
13 Place crank window mounts (5) on front and rear silent blocks (4), push crank window (1) into rear window guide rail (arrows) to stop and tighten nuts (2, 3) TORQUE SPECIFICATION

14 Check crank window (1) for easy motion IMPORTANT Move crank window (1) up and down with driver-side power window and outside mirror adjustment switch group or passenger-side power window and outside mirror adjustment switch group. Ensure that crank window (1) moves without tension.
If left front door power window motor or right front door power window motor runs irregularly or a low speed indicates high friction of the crank window (1) in the front window guide rail (9) or rear window guide rail (8), repeat adjustment and correct.
 
INSTALLING Install     
15 Install inner door panel   AR72.10-P-0104EG 
16 Close crank window (1)
