Adjust front panoramic glass roof - AR77.21-P-0501EW

REMOVING Remove     
DANGER Risk of injury  caused by fingers being pinched or crushed  when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lids, liftgates or sliding roof Keep body parts and limbs well clear of moving parts. AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
1 Remove rubbers from front glass roof (1)   AR77.21-P-0530EW 
2 Loosen bolts (5) on left and right outer support Only if the transition from tilting to sliding and vice versa has to be adjusted or if the or if the front glass roof (1) has been replaced.  
3 Loosen bolts (4) on front glass roof (1) on both sides.    
  Adjust     
4 Close front glass roof (1).    
5 Adjust front glass roof (1). IMPORTANT Adjust gaps and height of front glass roof (1) in relation to rear glass roof (3) and to front glass cover (2). Observe measuring position (A). *BE77.21-P-1001-01E 
6 Fix setting by tightening bolts (4) at both sides of front glass roof (1)    
7 Move front glass roof (1) to tilt position    
8 Tighten bolts (4) on both sides of front glass roof (1)    
9 Press left and right outer support upward onto front glass roof (1) and tighten with bolts (5) Only if the transition from tilting to sliding and vice versa has to be adjusted or if the front glass roof (1) has been replaced.  
10 Open front glass roof (1) and close again IMPORTANT If the front glass roof (1) is tensioned, cracking noise can occur, repeat adjustment if necessary.  
11 Check gaps and height adjustment. IMPORTANT Observe measuring position (A) for height adjustment; repeat adjustment if necessary. *BE77.21-P-1001-01E 
INSTALLING Install     
12 Remove rubbers from front glass roof (1)   AR77.21-P-0530EW 
13 Teach in and normalize front glass roof (1)    
  Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory   AD00.00-P-2000-04A
TEST AND ADJUSTMENT VALUES OF PANORAMIC ROOF
