The order of tightening listed for the left and the right cylinder head given below must be followed in order to avoid any consequent damages.
To loosen the cylinder head bolts (1 to 9), use the reverse tightening order.
- Tighten cylinder head bolts (1 to 8) to stage 1.
- Tighten cylinder head bolts (1 to 8) to stage 2.
- Tighten cylinder head bolts (1 to 8) to stage 3.
- Tighten cylinder head bolts (1 to 8) to stage 4.
- Tighten cylinder head bolts (9).
