Pry off oil pan - AR01.45-P-7500-04MM

IMPORTANT Prying off of the oil pan lower part (3) is not applicable for vehicles with an oil pan lower part (3) made out of plastic.

NOTES Do not drive any tooling between the oil pan lower part (3) and oil pan (1) to release the oil pan lower part (3).

The sealing surfaces will be damaged otherwise!

IMPORTANT Prying off takes place using a metric bolt M6 x 50 mm or longer. During prying off of the oil pan lower part (3), the bolt is turned in the nut (4) on the oil pan lower part (3) until the oil pan lower part (3) is released from the oil pan (1). Heat the oil pan lower part (3) in the area of the sealing surfaces with hot air gun if necessary. The design of the nut (4) is not suitable for the pneumatics tooling.

NOTES Do not drive any tools between cylinder crankcase and oil pan (1) to loosen the oil pan (1).

The sealing surfaces will be damaged otherwise!

The prying off takes place using self-tapping screws M6 x 60 mm or longer. While prying off the oil pan (1) the thread is first made in the threaded union (2) with the screw/bolt and then the oil pan (1) is pried off the sealing surface on the cylinder crankcase and timing case. The design of the threaded union (2) is not suitable for the pneumatics tooling. If necessary, heat oil pan (1) in area of sealing surfaces using a hot air gun.
