Remove/install instrument cluster - AR54.30-P-6015EW

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
NOTES Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge   AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1 Temporarily store basic data of instrument cluster (A1) in STAR DIAGNOSIS When replacing the instrument cluster (A1).  
    INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Transfer the cached basic data to the new instrument cluster (A1).  
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory   AD00.00-P-2000-04A
2 Position steering wheel rearwards and at the bottom    
3 Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key or KEYLESS-GO start/stop button from electronic ignition lock control unit IMPORTANT KEYLESS-GO start/stop button only on vehicles with code (889) Keyless-Go.  
4 Remove the left and right trim strip (1) on the bezel of the instrument cluster (2) On model 212 AR68.10-P-1180EW
5 Unlatch instrument cluster bezel (2) first at the top of the peg (3) then unlatch backwards in the lower area of the catch hooks (4) and remove INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Pay attention to the correct seat of the shackles (5).

6 Pull reset knob (6) out of the instrument cluster (A1)    
7 Unscrew bolts (7) until the instrument cluster (A1) is loose IMPORTANT The bolts (7) remain on the instrument cluster (A1).  
8 Swing the instrument cluster (A1) at the top out of the dashboard (8) and remove rearwards until the electrical connector (9) is accessible    
9 Unplug electrical connector (9) and remove instrument cluster (A1)    
10 Install in the reverse order
