| 4 | Unhook rear muffler (1) from the rubber retainers (2) | ||
| 5 | Lower rear muffler (1) using a transmission jack and removal fixture until the heat shield (4) bolts (3) are accessible | ||
| 6 | Remove heat shield (4) bolts (3) | ||
| 7 | Detach heat shield (4) from the two retaining clips | ||
| 8 | Remove bolts (5) on rear muffler (1) and remove rear muffler (1) with seal | *BA49.10-P-1001-01AD | |
| 9 | Install in the reverse order | ||
