Remove/install paneling on B-pillar - AR68.30-P-4700MCV

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove interior trim at roll bar   AR68.30-P-1380MCU 
2 Remove left or right side paneling in trunk   AR68.30-P-4800MCU 
3 Remove left and right roof frame strut    
4 Unhook seat belt (2) from belt guide (1) on seat    
DANGER Risk of injury  caused by backrest suddenly folding forward if release lever is accidentally operated during inspection and repair work When working on the seat, be careful not to accidentally release the backrest mechanism allowing the seat to fold forward. Keep body parts clear of the backrest travel area. AS91.00-Z-0005-01V
5 Move seat to front-most position and fold toward front    
6 Unclip and remove cover (3) When removing paneling from B-pillar (6) on front passenger side.  
7 Detach wiring harness from bracket (5) and disconnect belt tensioning sensor connector (B48/3x1) When removing paneling from B-pillar (6) on front passenger side.
IMPORTANT Observe installation position (arrow A) of wiring harness.
 
8 Remove bolt (4) from lower belt end fitting of seat belt (2) When removing paneling from B-pillar (6) on front passenger side.
Up to 30.8.10, when removing B-pillar paneling (6) on driver side.
 
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA91.40-P-1001-01G 
9 Turn lock (arrow) in lock (15) of seat belt (2) 90° clockwise and remove seat belt (2) from belt end fitting tensioner (17) As of 31.8.10, when removing B-pillar paneling (6) on driver side.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Ensure that lock (15) is seated correctly in mount (16) and observe installation position of seat belt (2).
 
10 Unscrew bolt (8) from B-pillar paneling (6)    
11 Remove expansion clips (9) from B-pillar paneling (6) SPECIAL TOOL Clip remover Figure
12 Unclip clips (11) from B-pillar paneling (6) SPECIAL TOOL Clip remover Figure
13 Carefully push B-pillar paneling (6) to side and unhook lug (arrow B) from B-pillar paneling (6)    
14 Guide B-pillar paneling (6) along roll bar (10)    
15 Remove B-pillar paneling (6) and guide seat belt (2) through opening into B-pillar paneling (6) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Position edge guard (7) in area of B-pillar paneling (6).  
16 Install in the reverse order
