Remove/install electric motor charge line to 12-volt battery - AR54.10-P-5107MEV

DANGER Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
DANGER Risk of death  when touching components on vehicles with high-voltage on-board electrical system Do not touch components and open lines of the high-voltage on-board electrical system. Persons who wear electronic implants (e.g. cardiac pacemakers), must not  carry out any work on high-voltage on-board electrical systems. AS54.00-Z-0001-01A

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove vehicle key and mains plug    
2 Carry out disconnection of high-voltage system   AR54.10-P-1160MEV 
3 Disconnect ground line of battery (G1)   AR54.10-P-0003MCC 
4 Remove cover (2)    
5 Unscrew nut (3), remove electrical line (4) from threaded pin and place to one side    
6 Disconnect charge line (1) of battery (G1)    
7 Unclip holder (5) of charge line (1) from battery holder NOTES
Note this when reusing the charge line (1). The holder (5) should not be damaged when being removed, otherwise the charge line (1) must be replaced.
IMPORTANT If a new charge line (1) is to be fitted, the holder (5) is provided on the new charge line (1).
 
8 Open fuse carrier (6), unscrew nuts (7) and remove fuse (8) Only if the fuse (8) is damaged.  
9 Remove high-voltage battery   AR54.10-P-1140MEV 
10 Remove fender liner from left rear fender MODEL 451.391/491 with ENGINE 780.009 without CODE 494 (US version) AR88.10-P-1400MCC
    MODEL 451.391/491 with ENGINE 780.009 with CODE 494 (US version) AR88.10-P-1400MCU
11 Press rubber grommet (9) out of battery box and guide out charge line (1)    
12 Remove rubber grommet (9) from charge line (1) IMPORTANT If the charge line (1) is to be reused, wrap the rubber grommet (9) in adhesive tape to allow the charge line (1) to be guided over the longitudinal member (13) (arrow A)  
13 Create access to charge line (1) along entire length of crossmember and longitudinal member NOTES
Note this when reusing the charge line (1). The holders (5) should not be damaged when being removed, otherwise the charge line (1) must be replaced.
IMPORTANT If a new charge line (1) is to be installed, the holders (5) are provided on the charge line (1).
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT : Replace cable tie.
 
14 Guide charge line (1) out rearward to wheel arch    
15 Unscrew nut (11) and remove ground line (10) from threaded pin    
16 Create access to charge line (1) and ground line (10) along entire length as far as bayonet lock (12) on drive electric motor (M5) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT : Replace cable tie.  
17 Release bayonet lock (12) by turning 90 degrees counterclockwise and disconnect from drive electric motor (M5)    
18 Guide charge line (1) and ground line (10) out to left to wheel arch    
19 Install in the reverse order
