Remove/install dehydrator - AR83.30-P-6525MCC

MODEL 451.3 (except 451.39), 451.4 (except 451.49) 

with CODE I01 (Air conditioning Plus)

DANGER Risk of explosion  caused by welding or soldering work on closed air conditioning system. Risk of poisoning  caused by inhaling overheated refrigerant vapors. Risk of injury  to skin and eyes caused by contact with liquid refrigerant. Do not perform welding work on or near a closed air conditioning system. No smoking or open flames. Wear safety glasses and protective gloves. Work only in well ventilated areas. Carry out repair work on the air conditioning system circuit only after the system has been drained. AS83.00-Z-0001-01A

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Drain air conditioning system INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Evacuate air conditioning and then fill it. AR83.30-P-1760MCC 
2 Disconnect air conditioning service unit    
REFER TO SPECIAL TOOLS 000 588 04 82 00 Air conditioning service unit   WS83.00-P-0031B 
DANGER Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
3 Raise vehicle using the vehicle lift and remove underfloor paneling    
4 Carefully pull front CBS (5) forwards and remove screw (6)    
5 Screw a suitable screw (9) into the cover (7)    
6 Push cover (7) with screw/bolt (9) upwards until retaining ring (8) is relieved    
7 Remove circlip (8) and remove cover (7) from below    
8 Gently push front module towards the rear and withdraw desiccant cartridge (4) downwards from condenser INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Install a new desiccant cartridge (4).  
9 Install in the reverse order
