Removal [07/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE CONSOLE SIDE PANEL 
    1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

    2. Remove the following parts:
      1. Center console tray

        See step  1

      2. Shift bezel

        See step  1

      3. Upper panel

        See step  1

      4. Shift lever knob (MTX)

        Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

      5. Selector lever knob (ATX)

        Refer to REMOVAL [07/2015 - ]

      6. Shift panel

        See step  1

    3. Pull the console side panel in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and detach the clips and hooks from the front console.

      *a ILLUSTRATION INDICATES LEFT SIDE. (RH SIDE IDENTICAL) *b CONSOLE SIDE PANEL
      *c FRONT CONSOLE *d CLIP
      *e HOOK *f RIB
      *g FRONT CONSOLE BOX - -
    4. Pull the console side panel in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and remove it while releasing the rib.
