DTC P3000-389: Battery Control System: Description

The power management control ECU alerts the driver and performs fail-safe control based on error signals received from the battery voltage sensor.

This DTC is set if the electric vehicle battery assembly is discharged excessively or the EV control system and EV battery system malfunctions.

HINT: 

If the electric vehicle battery assembly voltage has dropped due to a malfunction in other components such as the inverter with converter assembly or the EV transaxle with motor assembly, the electric vehicle battery assembly can be restored by performing plug-in charging after the malfunction has been repaired. If the electric vehicle battery assembly voltage has dropped excessively after the vehicle was left for a long time, the electric vehicle battery assembly will need to be replaced.
