DTC P0C76-523: EV Battery System Discharge Time Too Long: Procedure
- CHECK DTC OUTPUT (EV)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / EV / Trouble Codes.
- Check if DTCs related to the EV control system are output.

Result Proceed to Only P0C76-523 is output, or DTCs other than the ones in the table below are also output. A Any of the following DTCs are also output. - P0C76-523 may be output due to a malfunction which causes the DTCs in the table above to be output. In this case, first troubleshoot the output DTCs in the table above. Then, perform a reproduction test to check that no DTCs are output.
- Turn the power switch off.

- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / EV / Trouble Codes.
- Read and record the DTCs and freeze frame data.
- Clear the DTCs and freeze frame data.
- Turn the power switch off.

- PERFORM SIMULATION TEST
- Begin with the SOC at 10% or less.
- Turn the power switch off and wait for 20 seconds. [A]
- Turn the power switch on (IG). [B]
- Turn the power switch off again. [C]
- Repeat procedures [A] through [C], 10 times.
- Begin normal charging, and continue charging until the SOC is 35% or more.
HINT:
To shorten charging time, charging at 240 V is recommended.
