1. Engage the 10 hooks so that the connector side faces the outside of the vehicle, and install the front passenger airbag.
2. Install the 2 screws.

1. Install the instrument panel cushion as shown in the illustration.

1. Install the instrument panel box with the 4 <A> screws.

1. Install the instrument panel register with the 3 <A> screws.

1. Install the heater to register duct with the 3 <A> screws.

1. Install the heater to register duct with the 3 <A> screws.

2. Install the airbag wire harness.

1. Install the defroster nozzle with 3 <A> screws.

1. Using a nipper, cut off both ends of the runner portion shown in the illustration (When installing a new one).
2. Engage the 5 claws at the front of the instrument panel.

3. Engage the 2 clips and 4 claws at the rear of the upper instrument panel.
4. Install the upper instrument panel with the 3 <A> screws and <B> bolt.

   Torque: 20 N*m (204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf) 

   for bolt <B>

5. Install the airbag connector.

6. Connect the airbag connector.

1. Engage the 2 hinges in the horizontal direction to install the glove compartment door.
   NOTE:

   Engage the 2 hinges in the horizontal direction, otherwise, installation failure caused by excessive play around the hinges will result.

2. While pushing in the sides of the glove compartment door as indicated by the arrows in the illustration, close the door to engage it to the 2 stoppers.

1. Install the instrument panel register with the 3 <A> screws.

1. Engage the 6 clips, 10 claws and install the instrument cluster finish panel.

1. Engage the 2 clips and install the instrument cluster finish lower panel.

1. Install the instrument panel register with the 2 <A> screws.

1. Engage the 4 clips, 3 claws and install the instrument cluster finish center panel.

1. Install the front door opening trim weatherstrip RH.

1. Install the front door opening trim weatherstrip LH.

Torque: 5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf)
