Front Passenger Airbag Assembly: Installation

CAUTION: Some of these service operations affect the SRS airbag system. Read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS airbag system before servicing (See PRECAUTION ).

INSTALL FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
1. Engage the 10 hooks so that the connector side faces the outside of the vehicle, and install the front passenger airbag.
2. Install the 2 screws.
3. Install the wire harness onto the claw of the instrument panel.
INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE ASSEMBLY
1. Connect the airbag connector to install the instrument panel wire.
  NOTE:
  - Match the color of the connector of the instrument panel wire assembly with that of the connector of the front passenger assembly and install the airbag connector.
  - Lock the locking button securely.

INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH (See INSTALLATION )
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Torque: 5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf)
INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
