Front Door Courtesy Switch: Removal

HINT:

• Use the same procedure for both the RH and LH sides.
• The procedure described below is for the LH side.

1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE 

   HINT:

   Use the same procedure as for the RH side (See REMOVAL ).

2. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE 

   HINT:

   Use the same procedure as for the RH side (See REMOVAL ).

3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP 
   1. Remove the front door opening trim weatherstrip.

4. REMOVE REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP 
   1. Remove the rear door opening trim weatherstrip.

5. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISH 

   HINT:

   Use the same procedure as for the RH side (see REMOVAL ).

6. REMOVE FRONT DOOR COURTESY SWITCH 
   1. Using "TORX" socket wrench T30, remove the screw.

   2. Disconnect the connector and remove the front door courtesy switch.
