Inspection Procedure
HINT:
If DTC U0100 has been stored, troubleshoot the CAN communication system first.
- CONFIRM DTC OUTPUT (ECM)
- Check DTCs (See
DTC CHECK/CLEAR
).

B: Go TO DTC P0335 (See DTC P0335 CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR "A" CIRCUIT; DTC P0339 CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR "A" CIRCUIT INTERMITTENT )
A: Go to next step
- Check DTCs (See
DTC CHECK/CLEAR
).
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING INTELLIGENT TESTER OR TECHSTREAM (TACHOMETER)
- Connect an intelligent tester or a Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch on (IG) and turn the tester on.
- Operate the intelligent tester or Techstream according to the display and select "ACTIVE TEST" or "Active Test" (See DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST
).

NG : REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
OK: Go to next step
- READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER OR TECHSTREAM (TACHOMETER)
- Connect an intelligent tester or a Techstream to the DLC3.
- Engine start and turn the tester on.
- Operate the intelligent tester or Techstream according to the display and select "DATA LIST" or "Data List" (See DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST
).
