Parking Brake Lever Sub-ASSY: Replacement

HINT:

COMPONENTS: See COMPONENTS 

1. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSY REAR 
   1. Remove the console box rear cover.
   2. remove the console box carpet.
   3. Remove the screw.
   4. Using a clip remover, disengage the 2 clips, and remove the console box assy rear.

2. REMOVE WIRE ADJUSTING NUT NO.1 
   1. Remove the wire adjusting nut No.1.
3. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE LEVER SUB-ASSY 
   1. Disconnect the parking brake switch connector.
   2. Remove the 2 bolts and the parking brake lever.

4. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE SWITCH ASSY 
   1. Remove the screw and the parking brake switch.
5. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE SWITCH ASSY 
   1. Install the parking brake switch with the screw.
6. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE LEVER SUB-ASSY 
   1. Connect the parking brake cable to the lever, and install the wire adjusting nut No.1.
   2. Install the parking brake lever with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 13 N.m (130 kgf.cm, 9 ft.lbf) 

   3. Connect the parking brake switch connector.
7. CHECK PARKING BRAKE LEVER TRAVEL (See  ADJUSTMENT   ) 
8. ADJUST PARKING BRAKE LEVER TRAVEL (See  ADJUSTMENT   )
