Curtain Shield Air Bag ASSY LH: Replacement

HINT:

Replacement procedure of the RH side is the same as that for the LH side.

1. PRECAUTION (See  PRECAUTION   ) 
2. DISCONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL (See  PRECAUTION   ) 
3. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSY (SEE  REPLACEMENT  ) 
4. REMOVE CURTAIN SHIELD AIR BAG ASSY LH 
   1. Using a screwdriver, disconnect the connector of the curtain shield airbag assy LH.
   2. Remove the 3 bolts, 4 screws and the curtain shield airbag assy LH in the order shown in the illustration.

5. INSTALL CURTAIN SHIELD AIR BAG ASSY LH 
   1. Install the curtain shield airbag assy LH with the 3 bolts and 4 screws in the order shown in the illustration.

      Torque: 14 N.m (143 kgf.cm, 10 ft.lbf)

   2. Connect the curtain shield airbag assy LH connector.

6. INSPECT CURTAIN SHIELD AIR BAG ASSY LH (See  ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION   ) 
7. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSY (SEE  REPLACEMENT  ) 
8. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT (SEE  DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM  )
