Removal Procedure

  1. If convertible, remove the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement . If coupe, remove the carbon canister. Refer to Evaporative Emission Canister Replacement (Convertible)  or Evaporative Emission Canister Replacement (Coupe) 
  2. Disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister vent solenoid valve tube quick connect fitting. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  3. Depress the locking tab on the EVAP canister vent solenoid valve mount and slide the valve out of the canister.
