Removal & Installation
- Remove headliner. See HEADLINER
. Remove 2 screws and lower sun roof control switch console assembly. Disconnect harness from power sun roof motor. Remove screws, motor, motor spacers and guide block. See Fig 1
.
CAUTION:
DO NOT pull motor in with attaching screws, damage to drive cables may result. If motor is turned or sun roof window panel position has been changed, motor must be retimed to sun roof module. See SUN ROOF MOTOR TIMING
under ADJUSTMENTS.
- To install, position spacers onto power sun roof motor. Slide guide assembly to full rearward position to time cables. Position guide block onto motor aligning locator pins on motor housing. Mount power sun roof motor and connect harness. Tighten mounting screws to 27-35 INCH lbs. (3-4 N.m).
