Blower Motor Operates In High Speed, But Not In One Or More Of Other Speeds
- Check operation of blower motor and verify inoperative speed(s). Turn ignition switch to ON position. Select inoperative blower speed on blower motor switch. Check voltage between ground and appropriate blower resistor terminal. See BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR TERMINAL IDENTIFICATION . If battery voltage is not present, go to next step. If battery voltage is present, replace blower resistor and ensure proper blower motor operation.
- Using a voltmeter, check voltage between ground and blower motor switch connector terminal. See BLOWER MOTOR SWITCH TERMINAL IDENTIFICATION . Turn ignition switch to ON position. Check blower motor switch in each inoperative blower speed except high. If battery voltage is not present, replace blower motor switch and ensure proper blower motor operation. If battery voltage is present, repair open in appropriate wire between blower motor switch and blower motor resistors. Ensure proper blower motor operation.
