Preliminary Procedure  Remove the rear compartment lid inner panel trim. Refer to REAR COMPARTMENT LID INNER PANEL TRIM REPLACEMENT .
1	Rear Compartment Lid Latch Fastener (Qty: 2) Refer to FASTENER CAUTION . Tighten  9 Nm (80 lb in)
2	Rear Compartment Lid Latch Procedure  Disconnect the electrical connector. Push the lid latch to the left side and then forward. Pull out the lid latch.
