Preliminary Procedure Remove the plenum water deflector. Refer to PLENUM WATER DEFLECTOR REPLACEMENT .
1	Windshield Wiper Arm Finish Cap NOTE: Use a small flat-bladed tool to remove finish cap.
2	Windshield Wiper Arm Fastener Refer to FASTENER CAUTION . Procedure Position the windshield wiper arm so that the middle of the wiper blade is 10 mm below the blackout area of the lower part of the windshield. Lift the arm blade portion while pushing down the arm onto the pivot shaft. Install the windshield wiper arm fastener. Hold the windshield wiper arm stationary in position as previously stated. Torque the windshield wiper arm fastener. Release the windshield wiper arm. Repeat the same procedure for the other windshield wiper arm. Tighten 35 Nm (26 lb ft)
