Position sensor, soft top bag down (564): Connection

CONNECTOR PIN DESCRIPTION

3	Signal output	Soft top bag folded down (affected sensor) = 0.4-1.2 V Soft top bag not folded down (unaffected sensor) = 2.4-3.4 V

The sensor is connected to the STC control module with two leads. The sensor is energized with B+ on pin 2 and gives information on the soft top bag position to the STC control module on pin 3.

The sensor is affected by a metal tongue on the mechanism that controls the soft top bag. The sensor is affected when the soft top bag is completely folded down.
