READ VALUES (MENU) TABLE

Text Unit Min. Max. Description
Outdoor Temperature °C -40 80 Read the unfiltered value for the outdoor temperature.
Outdoor Temperature, Filtered °C -40 80 The SID unit's internal filtered value for outdoor temperature. Filtering takes place as follows:
  • +1°C change every 6 minutes at speeds below 30 km/h.
  • +1°C change every 30 seconds at speeds above 30 km/h.
  • -1°C change every 2.5 seconds.
Rheostat Sensor Volt 0 05.00 Voltage across the resistor in the rheostat. The voltage changes linearly from 0 V (max. rheostat level) to approx. 3.5 V (min. rheostat level).
Rheostat, Filtered % 0 100 Rheostat value, converted internally into %
  • When the main light switch is OFF, the rheostat value is 0%.
  • When the main light switch is ON, the rheostat value can be varied 0--100%.
Rheostat Night Panel, Filtered % 0 100 Rheostat value, converted internally into %, reduced by a fixed value.
LCD Dimmer Value, Filtered % 0 100 Lighting value for display converted internally into %. The value is calculated from the rheostat level and the level of the light intensity in the car.
Indoor Light Sensor Value % 0 100 Value from light sensor for interior light intensity in %.
Indoor Light Intensity, Filtered lux 0 1200 The SID unit's internal filtered value for interior light intensity.
Steering Wheel Control Volt 0 05.00 The steering wheel buttons consist of 7 resistors connected in series and supplied with +5 V from the SID unit.
When a button is pressed, the resistor concerned is grounded, giving the relevant voltage. See STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS (SWITCHES)  for voltage values.
On cars without steering wheel buttons only the voltage for the horn button is applicable.

Parking Heater Off
On
0 1 If the parking heater is connected as an accessory, the input from the clock (timer) can be read. For this type of connection, the SID unit must be programmed in order for it to control the function.
Month MONTH 1 12 The SID unit contains a real-time clock which keeps a record of the day, month, hour, minute and second.
To set the clock, see TIME FUNCTION  .
Day   1 31 The SID unit contains a real-time clock which keeps a record of the day, month, hour, minute and second.
