WARNING:
Wheel bearing housing raised incorrectly
- Risk of crushing

→ Wear personal protective gear.
→ Do not raise the wheel suspension higher than the normal vehicle position (vehicle resting n wheels).
Information
Threaded joints must only be tightened in zero position to prevent warping in the bearings.
- Only for the right drive shaft:
Install front axle support (rear section).
> 400819 Remove and install front axle support - section on "INSTALLING "
- Installing wheel bearing housing.
- Installing front underbody cover.

- Install header tank panel cover.
> Refer tp the appropriate Service Information to Remove and install header tank panel cover.
- Raise the wheel bearing housing as far as required using a jack (e.g > VAS 6931 - engine and gearbox jack
) until the lower trailing arm is horizontal. Zero position (shown on rear axle as an example)

- Tighten bolts securing spring strut to lower trailing arm -2-.
> Initial tightening 90 Nm (67 ftlb.)
> Final tightening + 120°
