Removing 48-Volt Additional Battery

  1. Read and follow work instruction for 48 V vehicle electrical system.

  2. Release and unplug the electrical plug connection -1-  .

  3. Pull off both terminal caps -1-  on the 48-volt additional battery.

  4. Unscrew fastening nuts -1-  on battery terminals and remove electric lines -2-  .

  5. Release and disconnect vent hose -3-  from 48-volt additional battery.

  6. Unscrew fastening nuts -1-  and set battery retaining bracket -2-  with electric lines aside.

  7. Twist the 48-volt additional battery -1-  and lift it out of the holder -2-  at the bottom -Arrow-  .
