Preliminary work for measurement 6
(Power electronics, electric motor, 3-phase line, traction line)
Loosen and disconnect traction line (E-box - power electronics) at the E-box.
High-voltage charger
Connect high-voltage test adapter > VAS 6558/9-6 - High-voltage test adapter HVA 280 to the power electronics connection for the electric air-conditioning compressor. Leave the second connection open.
Measurement 6
Perform measurement 6.
Setpoint value > 550 MOhm
Evaluate measured result
If the measured value is within the tolerance range, continue with measurement 6.1
If the measured value is outside of the tolerance range, continue with measurement 6.2

(E-box)
Remove HV battery.

Remove E-box.

Connect high-voltage test adapter > VAS 6558/9-7 - High-voltage test adapter HVR 40 to the E-box. Leave the second connection open.
Measurement 6.1
Perform measurement 6.1.
Setpoint value > 550 MOhm
Evaluate measured result
If the measured value is within the tolerance range, repeat measurement.
Contact Technical Support.
If the measured value is outside of the tolerance range, replace E-box.
After replacing the E-box, repeat measurement 5.
Preliminary work for measurement 6.2
(Power electronics, electric motor, 3-phase line)
Loosen and disconnect traction line (power electronics to E-box) at the power electronics.
Traction line connection at power electronics
Connect high-voltage test adapter > VAS 6558/9-6 - High-voltage test adapter HVA 280 to the power electronics connection for the electric air-conditioning compressor. Leave the second connection open.
Measurement 6.2
Perform measurement 6.2.
Setpoint value > 550 MOhm
Evaluate measured result.
If the measured value is within the tolerance range, replace the high-voltage line.
After replacing the high-voltage line, repeat measurement 5.
If the measured value is outside of the tolerance range, continue with measurement 7
